The PRONTO 2.0 CO₂ laser engravers feature several upgrades over the previous generation, including engraving speeds of up to 1,000 mm/s and improved cutting performance—up to 20 mm acrylic and 15 mm wood. They retain a Class 1 safety rating, with added front-cover and waste-bin protection. A powerful 125 L/min air pump and optimised airflow support consistent performance. The stronger split-frame chassis is easier to transport, while built-in sensors monitor air pressure and temperature for added safety.
For small businesses, the PRONTO 130W CO₂ laser engraver offers a strong balance of power, speed, and working area. It engraves at up to 1,000 mm/s, cuts materials such as walnut up to 20 mm and acrylic up to 35 mm, and provides a spacious 1300 × 900 mm work area. Yes. A laser engraving machine can open up new possibilities for hobbyists and small businesses, allowing you to cut and engrave materials such as wood, paper, leather, acrylic, and more.
Choose based on the materials you plan to process, the required power and work area, production speed, safety features, software compatibility, after-sales support, and your budget.
A CO₂ laser is not ideal for cutting most metals, especially reflective materials such as aluminium or copper. However, a high-power CO₂ laser—typically 150W or more—with oxygen or nitrogen assist gas may cut thin mild-steel or stainless-steel sheets. If metal cutting is your main goal, a fibre laser is generally the safer and more efficient choice.
