I’m Daryl Dean, better known throughout the
laser community as The LaZer Whisperer.

For me, lasers aren't simply something I
promote — they're what I work on.

I service, repair, diagnose, set up and
train people on CO₂ lasers of all brands, which gives me the opportunity to see these
machines from a very different perspective. I see what works, what doesn't,
what owners struggle with and, most importantly, what makes the difference
between simply owning a laser and actually understanding how to use it
properly.

That's also what makes my relationship with
OMTech a little different.

When you buy through an affiliate who
actually works on these lasers, the support doesn't have to end when the box
lands at your door.

I'm not simply an influencer showing you a
machine in a video and then leaving you on your own once you've bought one. I'm
the bloke who gets called when lasers aren't cutting properly, mirrors won't
align, power has dropped, something isn't behaving the way it should, or an
owner simply needs someone to show them how to get the best out of their
machine.

My purpose-built LaZer Whisperer HQ in
Brisbane is both a working CO₂ laser workshop and a dedicated showroom, demonstration and training
space. Here you can see OMTech machines in person, watch them actually working
and ask the questions that really matter before deciding which machine is right
for you.

And I'm happy to answer the technical
questions too.

Mirror alignment, laser power, milliamps,
cooling and water temperature, focus height, extraction, filtration,
maintenance, LightBurn, setup, troubleshooting — these aren't talking points
I've read from a brochure. They're things I deal with hands-on.

I'm also proudly independent and work on
many different brands of CO₂ lasers. That experience means I don't believe the answer should
automatically be “buy
the biggest machine you can afford.”

The right laser is the one that suits what
you actually want to do with it.

That's what I want people to get from an
OMTech Virtual Demo with me: an opportunity to see the machines, use them, ask
questions, talk to someone who genuinely works on CO₂ lasers
and make an informed decision without the sales pressure.

And when your machine eventually arrives,
you're not suddenly a stranger who has been handed a manual and wished good
luck.

I'm still here.

Because at The LaZer Whisperer, it's always
been about three things:

THE RIGHT MACHINE. PROPER SETUP. REAL
TRAINING.
